"Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious."--1 Peter 3:3-4
¡Bienvenidos! My name is Zoéy Johnson. I’m currently enrolled at Georgia
Cyber Academy and I've been a student there since kindergarten. My faith
in Christ has been the foundation of my motivation and my drive to be
able to set my standards high and strive to achieve them. Hence, I am
currently a rising Junior in high school and I'm part of the National
Honors Society, Beta Club, Student Council, and I take
Accelerated/Honors/AP courses. My Career Technical and Agriculture
Education (CTAE) pathway is in teaching and education, but I was
previously on the Spanish CTEA pathway. Yet, I still am vigorously
learning more about the language, just as I’m diving into the language
of computers.
I adore cars, trucks, and basically anything with a motor and a wheel.
Therefore, I plan to go to a HBCU (Historically Black College
University) to major in Mechanical Engineering and minor in Mathematics.
I also plan to get my Masters degree and my PhD in either Mathematics or
Engineering. Writing poetry and short stories are also something that I
take time to do, however, learning more about black history and the
rich, impenetrable history of my people is a blessing of its own. I’m
very fond of anime and, for that reason, I watch it frequently. I also
play sports and I currently play, referee, and coach soccer. Ultimately,
I’m more than excited to figure out what I can do with the language of
the computers and even more ready to dive into a new day with new
challenges.
